Maintenance Manager
Job Description:
Mows, edges, rakes, spot fertilizes, top-dresses, makes minor irrigation repairs, picks up trash, drives County vehicles, tows, and secures equipment for transport to various locations on main roads and streets.
Prepares park facilities for use. Coordinates activities with supervisor for self and team members to execute.
Maintains all items of inventory assigned to the park. Ensures that all county equipment goes to Fleet Services for scheduled preventative maintenance. Purchases non-capitol items, equipment and other items with the county issued purchasing card, and gives input for the purchase of capital items.
Maintains all irrigation systems. Prepares weekly reports to the Park Manager concerning the Turf Irrigation Program.
Plants and removes trees, bushes, and flowers. Lays and removes sod.
Provides input on performance evaluation of member staff to supervisor.
